The rest of the story...

So I was sitting feeling sorry for myself, realizing that I am about to move just a week before Christmas, and then I suddenly had the thought- holy cow, I still haven't posted the rest of the Thanksgiving pictures! So, instead of wallowing, I am just going to go ahead and slap the rest of the pictures up... Liz and Jack with Mary's kids. (What a bunch of goofballs!) It was so much fun to see the kids with their cousins. They fit right in and really enjoyed playing together.
A bit more tame...
I love this picture!!! Joe, Wallace and Jack, just the boys hanging out. And I just can't help but laugh when I look at Jack and his lovely fashion!

Jack and Grandpa

My mother has always dreamed of having roses, but in Great Falls, we were lucky if a rosebush lasted the summer, let alone the winter. Since moving to AZ though, she has a beautiful rose garden...

My lovely husband after an evening of burning weeds...

Liz loved helping grandma with her village. My mother always dreamed of having a Christmas village as well. About 10-12 years ago she started collecting and now urban sprall is a serious problem at Christmas time!

Joe and Liz helped me make some treats, but I think the favorite part was licking bowl... Oh, to be a three year old again!

Tom was so good with my kids. I just love the look in his eyes!

I love my dad!
Jack's contribution in decorating the tree consisted of chewing on the angel ornament and staying out of the way. He did a great job!

Liz was able to help a bit more...

Don't they look enthused?

When I was little, my mom used to always sing "I saw mommy kissing santa claus, underneath the Christmas tree last night..." so I grew up thinking those were the words. When Steve and I had to crawl under the tree to move it back a few feet, we couldn't help but steal a kiss.

Liz took the idea of stocking literally and had to try hers on...

Sarah was a great help with 'Jack attack' as she called him...

Had to get a 4 generation shot while we were there, and of course, I couldn't let Grandma Lizzy be the only one to get away with rabbit ears. I usually get quite annoyed with bunny ears, but somehow, this night they were hilarious.

It is so interesting to see how certain genes are passed down through the generations...

Grandkids in Christmas jammies...

It is always too long between visits. I can't wait to see them again... Aren't we pretty?

Haha Adney does that with our stockings too. Too cute! And I love the kiss. Although I doubt it was a very comfortable one ;)
