Anyone who follows my blog knows that I am always really behind on posting things.  Easter pictures for the 4th of July, Christmas pictures after Easter...  which is where we stand.  So besides the preschool pictures and my obvious big news, here is what has been happening in the Cowling family.

Jack's Birthday!  He looks a bit confused or maybe I was making a weird face behind the camera.  I plead the 5th!

Christmas... also Jack's birthday.  This is about the coolest toy he got (and he got A LOT).  You can snap the track together any way you want and the little motorized cars will go on it forever... or until the batteries run out, which happens much sooner than you would think.  Jack is obsessed with cars so this was a great gift!

Liz has become an expert bicyclist.  Her grandpa calls her speed racer.  She thought she couldn't make it up the hill, a fact that was met with more tears and sobs than I care to remember.  I told her that I would give her a dollar when she learned to ride up the hill (the driveway).  5 minutes later, this is her at the top of the driveway.   Hmmmmmm...

And beautiful... love her curls and the color of her hair in the sun.  She is quite the ham for the camera, I'm sure she got that from her dad, because I was never like that...  Haha, we talked to Aunt Mary on skype today and she was greeted with: "Aunt Mary! Aunt Mary! Guess what!  I AM SHY! Did you know that I am shy?"  Ya, right.

Jack is so curious about everything around him.  Especially if it involves dirt... and sticks... and outside.  I love seeing it, but I am exhausted chasing after him.
