Liz had her blog entry, this one is all about Jack. Jack is the best baby ever, only now he isn't really so much of a baby! He walks, says a few words, signs more, plays jokes, and is in to EVERYTHING! He is in that sort of strange stage, drifting between a baby and a toddler. Allow me to show you:
Grandma's cupboard or the best place ever invented for a 16 month old to play? Jack chooses option B.
Both of my children like to imitate their daddy in everything, and now Jack is apparently attempting to take up the ukelele as well. I love it because it seems to be made for his little hands and arms.
I usually just give him speghetti noodles, grandma thought he might enjoy sauce: grandma was right!
He also enjoyed feeding his mommy... so did she...
Lizzy's fairy wand makes an excellent chew toy, and also club, though not pictured here. The dog has learned to steer clear of Jack when he carries any long stick-like object.
Jack will pose for the perfect camera shot, nice smile, good angle, perfect lighting, and then at the absolute last moment he will reach for the camera and mess it up. Good thing it is still so cute.
Isn't he so handsome? I might be biased, I usually am, but this boy just melts my heart!
Have I mentioned how much I like hanging out with this little guy?
You can't accuse this guy of forgetting to stop and smell the flowers...
Or the other flowers... this goes on for a while...
A very typical Jack face. This particular expression is usually accompanied by grunting and beating on the chest afterwhich he collapses into giggles.
But at the end of a long day, sometimes he just wants to watch some TV. Love this kid, love him, love him, love him!
