Haircuts for my babies...

Liz has beautiful hair... Natural curls, a pretty reddish, blondish, brownish color... and she loves to 'twirl it'. She will twish it around her finger over and over and over until she comes up with an impossibly tight little tangle. Then, she will work through it until she ripps the tangle out of her hair. Then she will come and show me (sometimes) the handful of hair she has just ripped out of her head. This resulted in bangs (she took that much off, not me...) and one side of her hair being 4INCHES shorter than the other side... So Aunt Stacy saved the day and gave Liz a little help...

Gone! Do you see how much had to go?

And then, of course, because Aunt Stacy is Aunt Stacy, she styles it all fun and cute for Liz, who now wants another hair cut... Hmmmmm, that backfired just a bit, but she does look cute! And don't worry dad, her curls wouldn't stay straight for long, but it does make it look much shorter when it is curly.

I gave Jack his first haircut. Not absolutely necessary, but lots of fun! The big problem was that he wouldn't stop looking at the trimmer and his hair is a bit uneven, but no one cares when you are one! It has already grown out and he needs another. Maybe there is truth to the saying that it grows faster when you cut it!
