When we got there a friend of ours from an old ward was there with her little girl, Avie. Lizzy loved her, and loved bossing her around. She might have even appeared in more pictures if Lizzy hadn't accidentally kicked her in the face when she was on the swing... I still feel horrible about that!
I love this one because I think Adney literally fell on his bottom right after this. He is such a boy!

And we are considering using this one for their engagement pictures... I mean, it isn't like Miriam and I have planned the wedding... yet... but just in case, right?
When Liz starts to feel like she needs a little extra attention with her friends, she will play dead. Just lay on the ground with her eyes glazed over and not respond to ANYTHING! This (above) is one step above that. She just went off by herself and looked sad. Adney, being the tender and sweet little boy that he is, went right over to try and console her. It worked.
Like we were going to believe they fell asleep on the slide! Liz...? Adney...? Hey guys, wake up!

This poor squirrel has carried the two of them on many adventures. They just don't fit as well as they used to!
Adney picked this flower for Liz. I think dandelions are a much more charming 'flower' than before I had kids.
No date would be complete without a trip to the ice cream shop. Adney was more than happy to share his bubble gum ice cream with Liz.
Too cool!
