When I was a kid there was nothing quite as exciting as a visit from grandma. I am not sure that grandparents really understand just how cool they are to their grandkids. Steve's parents recently came out for Uncle Jon's birthday, and Liz and Jack were in Heaven. But... we forgot to get the camera out until the last day, so we were very limited on pictures... Need I even comment on this one?

I was worried that Jack may not remember Grandma and Grandpa too well (he is only 10 months old!), even after spending the whole summer with them. However, my fears proved wholly without foundation. Jack and grandpa were pals again and grandma was so much fun!

Grandpa taught Liz to roll over when she was a baby, but Jack had already learned by the time we got out to Washington. I think that he is trying to teach Jack something monumental...

Liz was telling grandma a story, don't remember the details, but there were probably lots. Grandma is holding Ambrosious.

Grandma and Grandpa got Liz this ball while they were here. Liz loves it and would bounce on it all day if we let her. Actually, she mostly stomps and drags it, as the boucing is a bit more difficult than it looks. This is a slight problem as it is extremely noisy in the house (the downstairs neighbors may have mentioned it), so it is now an exclusively outside toy.

We miss you grandma and grandpa... thanks for coming. We love you and we will see you soon.
