We have taken to hiking every weekend. I love it! We have a hiking book and we just comb through for beautiful, easy, and close hikes. Living in Washington, it isn't hard to find some place fabulous. These first pictures are from Robe Canyon on an old railroad right of way. The beginning (and consequently the end) was quite difficult and very steep, but Liz had no problems... that is just another reason that she is so amazing.

These next pictures are from a 'hike' not far from our house. It is also an old railroad right of way, but has been paved over and is an extremely popular place for bikers, joggers, horseback riders, dogs, etc.... We took the kids and their cousins there a few weeks ago.
