What a Looker!!!
When Becca and Ashton come over Liz loves to play "1-2-3 Bumblebee". You probably know it under many different names. Basically it just involves saying 1-2-3 bumblebee and then swinging Liz in the air. Sometimes she just yells it out and then goes limp, hoping that she will be swung. Sometimes it works...
Jack's first time in the pool! We have been experiencing a rather cool summer so far (no hotter than 75) and so we hadn't gotten the pool out. However, there is a running joke around here that summer starts on the 5th of July, and it has turned out to be so true this year. We are up into the high 80's and low 90's! We're having a heat wave! Anyway, the water was just right for Jack and he got a little upset when I brought him in, he took to it like a fish to water! (Okay that was a pretty bad joke...)
Max (the dog) thinks that Jack is his best friend in the whole world. He tries to play ball with him, he cuddles with him and he hangs out right below Jack's highchair. Jack is equally fond of Max. That is great. I don't mind. What I mind, however, is the fact that Max feels the need to kiss Jack (and by kiss I mean lick the inside of his mouth) whenever he gets the chance. This would not be nearly so bad if Jack didn't grin and open his mouth wide! Oh well, boys are gross.
Jack isn't crawling yet but he is most certainly mobile. I laid him down about 5 feet from this spot, on his back and facing the other direction. A combination of rolling over and inchworming got him under this chair.
Liz has decided that she loves to get into bed with Jack in the mornings. She will wait for me to okay it, but it is pretty darn cute. She then immediatly pretends to be asleep. Does she think that I am going to buy it? Is she just practicing her tecnique? Not sure.

i love naked baby pictures where you can see their chubby little body. He is so cute. And the fake sleeping only gets worse. heidi tries to pull it off during the nap to pretend she had a nap so she can stay up later at night. boys are gross and girls are sneaky.
