Ode to Adney by Lizzy Cowling:
How do I love thee, let me count the ways:
you steal my toys, my treats, my heart. Y
ou let me bite you, it really smarts.
You knock me down when I get in your way,
I knock you down, that's how we play.
I steal your juice, your sippy cups;
you drop your treats, I pick them up.
You are my best friend, That is for sure,
heck, you are the only one who will come back for more!

Hey, we aren't sick this week, so that is good news. Steve didn't miss a beat with school, even if he was moving a little sluggishly. We had a great date this week, we stayed home and watched Ladyhawke. I haven't seen the movie in a while and Steve had never seen it, so we popped some popcorn and threw it in. I had forgotten what a cool movie it was. Definately a must see. Anyway, Lizzy got a new carseat this week, she had finally outgrown her 'baby' seat. Actually, she was well within the weight limit, but her little legs just kept poking out and she kept trying to pull off the sun visor. She looks so grown up in her new seat!

Also, we found a towel/poncho this week that Doug got for Liz before she was born. We finally tried it out and she absolutely loves it. She will run around for as long as possible before we finally have to chase her down and put a diaper on. Most nights she wants us to put it back on over her pajamas. We thought you might enjoy all of the pictures.
We went to Mesa Falls last weekend with our friends the Wilsons. Lizzy got the stomach flu on the road, but we did have a good time. She was so tired that day that she fell asleep on my bed. Isn't that just so precious... Oh, and apparently in this shot, your can see a tiny little kayaker on the ledge in the middle of the falls. His buddies were up there to take pictures and told us that he was getting married the next day and this was his last big hurrah before then. I just hope that he made it, crazy man!
