While I do not customarily allow my children to eat dirt, I do reach for a camera when they do...

Jack and Max... best friends. This is basically what I see all day. Max will chase that ball for HOURS and wants Jack to play with him. Jack will pick up the ball (or sometimes Max will place it in his hand) and then he will put it into his own mouth, dog slober and all. I don't even try to stop it anymore. What is funny is that Jack will hold the ball out for Max and then pull it away at the last minute and laugh hysterically. He might also put is finger into one of the holes that you can see and then Max will think that Jack is going to drop it but he doesn't. Jack also thinks that this is hysterical. They will also play on the floor together like puppies. Max allows Jack to pull on his ears or hair and does his best to make Jack feel better whenever he fusses. This usually involves licking his face or the inside of his mouth (Liz has learned to say, "Max, no french kissing!") or if that doesn't work then he will put his butt in Jack's face to let him sniff it. It would break Max's heart if he realized that Jack wasn't a dog!

What a looker!

Taken about two seconds before...

Crash!!!! To be fair though, I did warn her. Max was also quick on the spot to make her feel better, but at least he didn't offer her a quick sniff of his butt.

Jack now has two teeth! We can't go anywhere without someone telling me what a cute smile he has. I am inclined to agree. If all babies were as happy and good as Jack, everyone would have 10 kids!

Jack loves his Uncle Jimmy almost as much as Uncle Jimmy loves Jack. Jimmy normally doesn't have that weird look on his face, he is trying to get Jack to make that face. It was hilarious to watch. Why is it that we all turn into blithering idiots just to make a baby laugh? I'm not sure, but I am sure glad that we do.

Okay, why is it that this picture suddenly went sideways? I tried to fix it, but it didn't work... Any suggestions would be welcome. Anyway, this is Liz preparing to be a flower girl this weekend. Our latest concern: she can get every single flower petal out in one scoop....

You know, it really is a miracle that Ashton still likes Jack. The first time that she babysat him, he peed on her. The next time, he spit in her mouth.... While I find this wonderfully amusing, I think that she was a little scarred. Not too bad though, she texted me last night asking to babysit.

The happy couple, ready for wedded bliss in just two days time... She looks so happy.... he looks so.... Jimmy, put down the PSP!

Uncle Jon: now you know why you are not our babysitter... Actually Jack loves to be held upside down and it is almost a sure fire way to calm him down.

So when Jack is screaming you just hold him upside down? That is so funny. He is a darling little boy.
