Time to update the old blog, but I don't have too much news. Steve has been working his tail off with the start of school. He has also found a new program 'sketchy physics' that he loves to experiment on. Most of you know that I absolutely hate video games, but this isn't a game and so I don't mind it too much at all. Liz has reached an important milestone- 18months! Hooray! She started nursery and is doing great. She hates the good-bye, but she calms down pretty quick when we leave so we don't worry too much. They tell me she is great to help pick up and help give kids hugs when they are sad. She also had her 18 month check up, and seems to be doing well. For those of you interested in stats, she is 20.8 lbs, 31.5 inches tall and her head is 18.8 inches around. That places her in the 6th percentile, the 46th percentile and the 80th percentile, respectivly. So, she is super skinny, with normal height and a big head! Maybe her big head is why she is so smart. We shall see I suppose. As for me, I am keeping myself out of trouble. I just got a calling as a RS teacher and I love it. It is probably my favorite calling in the church, so that is happy news. I am working on a few quilting projects (my new-found hobby). I got so excited when we went to the store to pick out fabrics and everything was 50% off. Doesn't take much to make me happy I suppose. Well, that is the news, hope you enjoy the pictures! This one is for you dad! She is doing her sign for grandpa...
This was when we told her that she couldn't go see grandpa...

She brightened right up when I told her I would buy her a pony, though... just kidding. Lizzy can't be sad long; she is just too happy.

Bag for blocks or Hazmat suit? You decide.

I guess a responsible mother would immediatly take this suffocation risk off of her child's head, but it was just so darn cute that I kept snapping pictures.

Lizzy makes a phone call while lounging on her princess couch with her best friend.

What would you pay to know just what these two are thinking?

This is the second time I have put dryer shots on my blog. Honestly I don't let them in here... ever. But when they do sneak in, it is just so funny that I have to take a picture. I don't know what Adney was saying to her, but she certainly looks suspicious.
Laughing at Adney's jokes.

Lizzy is a very happy mommy to her baby!

Okay, I think that Lizzy has an old soul. She loves Sound of Music, Oklahoma, and all of the old musicals. Saturday night we left PBS on, and the Lawrence Welk show came on. She was transfixed. She watched the whole show, dancing along with all of the numbers, singing along, and applauding wildly everytime a number was over. Maybe that is why Lizzy loves her Great grandmas so much, she likes the same things they do!
